The filter press dewatering machine sends the liquid to be filtered through the feeding hole at the top plate end under a certain pressure through the feeding pump into each filter chamber. The solid material is trapped in the filter chamber through the filter cloth and gradually forms a filter cake. The sludge feeding pump has a pressure of 6-12 bar, and is usually equipped with one low pressure PCpump at 6 bar and one high pressure screw pump at 12 bar. Using one rotary pump can replace two high and low pressure screw pumps.
This project is the feed pump for the dewatering machine of a municipal sewage treatment plant, which requires self-priming of 3 meters, flow rate of 10-90m3/h, maximum pressure of 12 bar, motor of 37KW, and 2 sets of Robusta high-pressure designed rotary pumps. Maintenance will begin after 2 and a half years of operation.
